REQUIREMENTS

- 1-2 years’ working experience

- German High School Diploma

- Fluent German-speaking, including Business reading and writing

- Fluent English-speaking, including Business reading and writing

- Information Technology Qualification OR alternatively, 2 to 3 years working experience in IT, including the technical skills listed below.

- Analytical

- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure, incl. client-server architectures

- Basic IT administration skills (e.g. LINUX / Windows)

- Experience with IT Customer service

- Experience with First level support (customer contact)

- Experience in a vehicle production or other Manufacturing environment (advantageous)

- South African citizens only

 

ROLE TASKS

- Provide Production Support (IT) for all German speaking Plants

- Be the telephone call receipt of IT incidents related to production issues

- Pre-qualify IT-incidents and classify additional relationships

- Fix incidents in IT systems in accordance with manuals

- Monitor IT system error messages and process accordingly

- Provide guidance throughout the Incident management processes

- Initiate the IT escalation process, when required

- Process email requests

- Serve as an “Information channel” for Management and end-users

- Work shifts as part of a team providing 24 x 7 support
