REQUIREMENTS

Strong ABAP Development skills including but not limited to:
- Clean Code
- SAP Software quality Tools (SCI, ATC…)
- Experiences in test-driven development advantageous
- Authorisations and Security
- UI5, Fiori
- ALE, ARFC, IDocs
- Troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing.
- Go-live preparation and post-Go-live support.
- Interact with consultants of other modules
- Experience working with SAP Solution Manager – especially CHARM
- Familiarity with the company's system landscape will be advantageous
- Agile and DevOps experience
- Operations experience (ticket handling, problem, incident management)
- Jira and Confluence experience
- Build management experience
In addition know-how in the following modules:
- SAP MM (especially MRP)
- And all ECC modules

ROLE TASKS

The organization is responsible for several SAP-based solutions for logistics in production. Its Platform team is looking for an SAP basis expert and/or ABAP developer to support the operation of existing R/3-based solutions and in the creation of an S/4-based successor solution.
 You will be tasked with activities like
 analysis of incidents such as performance bottlenecks, short dumps, interface problems, and identifying solutions for those
 monitoring of SAP basis components such as the Work Process Setup, Job Scheduler, Archiving Solution or ALE and finding ways to improve their stability and resource usage
 Creation of new solutions for system monitoring, user-provisioning, or automation of operational tasks.
 support of the Release Upgrades (SPAU, SPDD)
 implementation of SAP notes
 support of application development teams in architectural or basis related questions
 Governance over Software Quality aspects (Code Reviews, ATC-Configuration)
 Related documentation in line with the company's guidelines is mandatory and all development must comply with the company's SAP Development guidelines.

ITSM processes and procedures must be followed.
 Our working model is following an Agile approach.
 Solutions have to be holistically considered and re-used in other Group systems and thus be modular and easily adaptable.
 On occasion weekend work or after hours may be required to cater for our international clients but is not the norm.
