Key performance areas:
- Develop, execute and monitor progress related to projects undertaken by the organization and the entities under its control;
- Lead and manage planning and reporting for portfolio of projects of responsibility;
- Lead appropriate utilisation and management of internal and external resources;
- Maintain financial and governance portfolio of projects of responsibility;
- Manage the appointment and management of sub-contractors/service providers/consultants related to projects undertaken by the organization and the entities under its control;
- Lead communication with project funders, beneficiaries and stakeholders effectively; and
- Support all other elements pertaining to the day-to-day operations related to projects undertaken by the organization and the entities under its control.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
Specific activities:
- Initiate, resource and implement multi-stakeholder projects;
- Develop project specific budget workplans and templates and track progress;
- Develop reports linked to requirements of projects for their funders, beneficiaries and related stakeholders; and
- Develop standard operating procedures to support the delivery of projects and activities.

- Demonstrable experience in project monitoring and evaluation;
- Strong computer literacy skills (PowerPoint; Excel; MS Word; Outlook and Internet Explorer);
- Excellent business level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills;
- An understanding of value chain localisation and its drivers;

Qualifications, Experience and Requirements
- Honours-level degree in commerce, engineering or development studies (Preferred: Masters)
- 3 to 5 years project/programme management experience in a multi-stakeholder project environment, with experience in managing localisation, procurement or supply chain development projects;
- Valid South African drivers’ licence
